Calm, private discussion
Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
You do not believe in any of this, and you are frightened anyway
You have a degree in physics and a job in machine learning. When your grandmother said, on a call, that the family astrologer had seen something dark over you this year, you smiled. That night you checked the locks twice. A week later you noticed you were avoiding the number thirteen. It embarrasses you. It is also keeping you awake.

Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
We separate genuine concerns from ordinary stress or health.
Guidance on prayer and protection from anywhere.
Only protective and peaceful remedies are advised.
An engineer raised in a devout home in Kanpur left belief behind at university. After a warning from home about a curse, she finds herself reading meaning into a missed bus and a spilled coffee. She tells no one in her office, where it would sound absurd.
Beliefs absorbed in childhood sit deeper than reasoning. A warning from a loved elder activates them, and the mind, once alert for threat, finds it everywhere. Feeling the fear does not mean you believe the claim. It means you are human and were raised in a tradition where such things were taken seriously.
A consultation is a place to talk about this without being laughed at or converted. Any practice we suggest is offered as a way of calming the mind, to take or leave. We do not tell you there is anything over you.
On believers and sceptics alike, through attention and expectation.
Care, expressed in her own vocabulary.
Sleep, exercise, a breathing practice, and talking about it.
And what you have noticed in yourself since. The main service page explains how a session is arranged.
How the consultation worksThere is nothing irrational about an early-learned fear resurfacing.
They grow if fed. Deliberately skip them.
You may accept a simple one for their peace without endorsing the premise.
When the thought comes, label it: "That is the warning talking." Do the thing you were tempted to avoid. Each time, the association weakens. Keep your sleep and exercise regular, since a tired mind is more suggestible.
Call your grandmother and thank her for thinking of you. If she wants to light a lamp or have a simple prayer said on your behalf, let her; it costs you nothing and eases her. Ask her not to pay large sums. Tell one friend here about it. Said aloud in a San Francisco coffee shop, it will sound as small as it is. Notice, too, how quickly the unease fades on a busy, sociable day; that is evidence about where the fear comes from, and worth remembering on a quiet night.
The session is online and private. We are comfortable with doubt. Birth details are needed only if you ask for a reading.
Because early associations act faster than reasoning. It fades when not reinforced.
A simple family prayer is harmless. Doing costly things 'just in case' feeds the fear.
No.
No. We respect where you stand.
