Calm, private discussion
Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
Your parents want a ritual done. You think it is superstition. They are visiting next month.
Your mother has decided that the reason you are thirty-five, unmarried and recently made redundant is that your father's sister did something years ago. She has spoken to a pandit. When they arrive in Düsseldorf in March she wants a havan in your flat. You find the idea embarrassing and faintly insulting. You also do not want three weeks of argument.

Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
We separate genuine concerns from ordinary stress or health.
Guidance on prayer and protection from anywhere.
Only protective and peaceful remedies are advised.
A project manager tells his mother flatly that black magic does not exist. She weeps and says he has become a foreigner. His father asks him quietly to let her do it, for her peace. He does not know whether agreeing would be kind or dishonest.
For your parents, a ritual is a way of doing something for a child whose life worries them and whom they cannot otherwise help. Rejecting it can feel to them like rejecting their care. For you, going along with it may feel like endorsing an accusation against a relative and an idea you find false.
A consultation helps you find a position you can hold honestly. We can suggest forms of prayer that carry no accusation. We do not tell families that black magic has been done, and promise nothing about jobs or marriage.
"I am frightened for you and want to help."
A blessing, perhaps. A removal aimed at an aunt, perhaps not.
Work and marriage, which deserve their own conversation.
What you could take part in sincerely, and what you could not. The main service page describes the consultation.
How the consultation worksIt will not persuade and will hurt. Speak to the feeling.
They will sense it. Find a version you can do with goodwill.
Ask that no one be named. This is a fair condition.
Tell your mother you know she is worried and that you are grateful. Then propose: "Let us do a simple puja for a good year ahead, a Ganesh or Satyanarayan puja. I would like that. But I do not want anything that blames Bua." Most parents accept this readily; it gives them the ceremony and you your integrity.
Take part warmly. A lamp, some flowers and prasad harm no one's worldview. Separately, talk to them about the job search and about marriage as you actually see them. Their fear is that you are unhappy; show them where you are not. Being at odds over belief need not mean being at odds over love.
The session is online and can be joined from anywhere in Germany, with your parents if they wish. We can speak to both generations. Birth details are optional.
Not if you take part as an act of love and are honest about your own view.
That you do not want anyone accused, and that you will happily pray for the future.
We would tell them we do not diagnose it, and that simple devotion is enough.
No promise can be made. It may give your parents peace, which is worth something.
