Calm, private discussion
Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
You fell ill far from home, and your roommates say something was sent after you
Fever that comes and goes, no appetite, a weakness in the legs. You have missed shifts and the supervisor is unhappy. At night in the camp the men talk: an enemy in the village, a relative angry about land, something sent across the sea. Your wife cries on the phone and says she will go to the pir. You are thirty-four and have never felt so far from home.

Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
We separate genuine concerns from ordinary stress or health.
Guidance on prayer and protection from anywhere.
Only protective and peaceful remedies are advised.
A mason from Bihar grows thin and exhausted in his second summer in Doha. His family, alarmed, spends money on a healer who says a cousin is responsible. A company clinic, when he finally goes, finds an infection and the effects of heat and poor diet.
Hard physical work in extreme heat, crowded rooms, monotonous food, little sleep and worry about debt wear the body down. Infections spread easily. Low mood and homesickness take away appetite. Away from family, with no one to nurse you, illness feels sinister.
A consultation gives you a hearing in your own language. A prayer for recovery may be suggested. We do not treat illness, do not blame relatives, and urge you to use the medical care you are entitled to.
For how long, with what pattern. A doctor needs this.
Heat, water, food, rest. Often the cause.
And the money they may spend on it.
And how much you are eating, drinking and sleeping. The main service page explains what to expect.
How the consultation worksUntreated illness costs more shifts. Go.
Ask them to wait until you have seen a doctor.
It can start a feud that outlasts your illness.
Use your health card and see a doctor at the company clinic or a public health centre. Describe everything. Ask for tests if the fever keeps returning. In the hot months drink water constantly and take salt; heat illness is common and serious.
Eat what you can, rest on your days off, and talk to a friend from your district. Tell your wife what the doctor said, and ask her not to pay anyone or accuse anyone. Pray as you do at home. If you are being denied medical care or made to work while ill, contact your embassy's labour section. Most men recover fully once treated and rested.
The session is online and can be joined from Qatar when your shift allows. We speak plainly and kindly. Birth details are optional.
We do not believe so. Illness in these conditions has plain causes that a doctor can treat.
If praying comforts her, yes. Ask her not to spend large sums or name anyone.
Get treated early so you recover. Your embassy can advise on your rights.
Yes, we can suggest one in your tradition, alongside treatment.
