Calm, private discussion
Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
The pain moves around your body, and no doctor can say why
Shoulders one week, lower back the next, then a burning in the legs. Scans show little. One doctor mentioned fibromyalgia; another said stress and prescribed exercise. Your sister in India is convinced that someone has done something and that needles of pain are a known sign. After three years, you are tired enough to consider anything.

Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
We separate genuine concerns from ordinary stress or health.
Guidance on prayer and protection from anywhere.
Only protective and peaceful remedies are advised.
A woman in the Central Valley has lived with widespread pain since a difficult period in her marriage. She has tried several specialists. A relative arranges a remote ritual with pins removed from a doll. She feels lighter for a few days, then the pain returns.
Chronic pain without visible damage is common and real. The nervous system can become sensitised, so that it signals pain in the absence of injury, and stress, poor sleep and low mood turn the signal up. This is physiology. It is also why reassurance or a ritual can bring brief relief: easing fear eases pain for a while.
A consultation offers a patient hearing. A calming practice may help you alongside treatment. We do not treat pain, and do not think it has been sent to you by anyone.
A sensitised alarm system, influenced by stress and sleep.
Pain clinics, graded movement, therapy, sleep treatment.
Often a period of strain worth acknowledging.
When it began, what was happening then, and what has been tried. The main service page describes how sessions are held.
How the consultation worksIt is not. Seek clinicians who understand chronic pain.
Keep medical care going.
Gentle regular movement usually helps more.
Ask your doctor for a referral to a pain management or rheumatology clinic and for an assessment of sleep and mood. Treatments that combine movement, education about pain and psychological support have good results. Keep a simple diary of pain, sleep and stress for a fortnight before the appointment, because patterns that link them are often visible on paper and help the clinician a great deal.
Each day, do a little gentle movement and something that lowers stress: slow breathing, a walk, music, prayer. If recitation or meditation from your tradition settles you, make it regular; it is a recognised way of quieting an over-alert nervous system. Thank your sister for her concern. You can receive her care without accepting that you are cursed. Pain education courses, often run by hospitals or online by pain charities, explain these mechanisms clearly and help many people feel less afraid of their symptoms.
From anywhere in California, the session is online. We listen fully. Birth details are optional.
No. It is a recognised medical problem, even when scans are clear.
Relief from fear lowers pain for a time. It shows that calming your system helps.
Many people improve considerably with the right combination of treatments.
As a relaxation practice it may help some people. It complements medical care.
