Calm, private discussion
Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
Since you moved into this house, nothing has gone right
The price was good, suspiciously so. From the first winter there has been illness, quarrels and a feeling in certain rooms that you cannot name. Neighbours let slip that the previous family left in a hurry. Your wife will not go upstairs after dark. In Jammu and Kashmir, where old houses carry long histories, such unease is not unusual.

Fear and worry are heard without judgement.
We separate genuine concerns from ordinary stress or health.
Guidance on prayer and protection from anywhere.
Only protective and peaceful remedies are advised.
A family buys an old house in the city. The children cough all winter. Doors bang. The mother feels watched in the back room. A relative says the place is affected and must be cleansed before worse happens.
Houses do make people ill and uneasy, for reasons that can be found: damp and mould, poor ventilation, fumes from heaters and bukharis, draughts, creaking timber, bad light. Carbon monoxide from heating in closed rooms causes headaches, confusion and a sense of dread, and can kill. Stories about a house then colour every sound.
A consultation helps you look at both sides. A griha shanti or simple prayers for the home can be arranged as your tradition. We do not claim a house is haunted or cursed, and promise no change from ritual alone.
Damp, mould, heating, ventilation, wiring. Have them checked.
What you have been told, and how it has shaped what you notice.
Light, repairs, prayer, and the family's own routines.
Its age, heating, any damp, and which rooms trouble you. The main service page explains the consultation.
See the consultation processSuspect the heater. Ventilate, and never sleep with a burning kangri or stove in a closed room.
Damp and mould are common causes. Ask a doctor and inspect the walls.
Investigate first. Most such houses become comfortable once repaired.
Have a builder or engineer look at damp, roof, chimneys and wiring. Check how each room is heated and aired. Keep a window slightly open where a stove or gas heater burns, and consider a carbon monoxide alarm. See a doctor about persistent coughs and headaches.
Bring light into the rooms that feel heavy: paint, lamps, people. Hold a griha pravesh or shanti path, or recite at home in your own tradition, with the whole family present. Many households find this marks the place as theirs. Tell the children the plain facts about old houses and their noises. Keep a written list of what the inspection finds and what has been fixed, so that the family can see the house improving week by week.
Sessions are online, which suits Jammu, Srinagar and remoter towns. We take your unease seriously. Birth details are optional.
We do not say so. Houses cause real discomfort for physical reasons that can be found.
A blessing can bring peace of mind. Repairs and ventilation fix the physical causes.
People move for many reasons. It need not mean anything about the house.
If you value it, it can be considered alongside practical repairs.
