Together on paper, apart all week
Your conversations have become voice notes sent between trains and meetings. Once you both stop for the day, there is little energy left. If your Mumbai working week has left the relationship without an agreed time together, start with the routine you actually have.

Share only what you are comfortable sharing about the relationship.
Feelings, timing and next steps are looked at one by one.
Phone or video, so distance is not a barrier for you.
You hear what the chart suggests, not a promised result.
Imagine a couple who both work long days. They live forty minutes apart when the roads are kind. During the week they exchange quick messages: "reached", "eaten?", "call you later". Later rarely comes. On Sunday one of them is too tired to go out, and the other hears that as "you are not worth the effort".
Neither person is being careless on purpose. Still, a relationship fed only on leftovers of the day starts to feel thin. The hurt partner often stops asking for time, because asking feels like nagging. Then the distance grows quietly, and the first serious argument seems to arrive from nowhere.
In a consultation you can lay out an ordinary week and see where time for each other could honestly fit. A Kundli reading is optional. If you want one, it adds a traditional view of how each of you shows care. It is not a substitute for agreeing on actual hours together.
List working hours, travel and fixed commitments for both of you. Look for time that exists, not time you wish existed.
Practise saying what you miss rather than what they failed to do. "I miss talking to you" lands differently from "you never call".
A fifteen-minute call that happens is worth more than a full evening that gets cancelled. Start with what can be kept.
A rough outline of both your weekly schedules is the most useful thing to bring. Booking, format and the optional chart reading are explained on the main service page.
How the consultation worksAgree what later means. A named time, even a short one, removes the waiting and the resentment that follows it.
If all suggestions come from one side, say so calmly. Ask your partner to take charge of the next plan from start to finish.
Rest is a real need. Decide together which part of the weekend is for recovery and which part is for each other.
Sit down together with both calendars for the coming fortnight. Mark what cannot move. Then look at what remains and choose two short slots you will both protect. Treat them the way you would treat a meeting with a senior colleague: you do not cancel without notice and a new time.
If your partner says they have no time at all, ask what would have to change for that to be different, and when. A busy season at work has an end date. An open-ended "this is just how my life is" is a different message, and you are entitled to take it seriously.
For a couple travelling between different parts of Mumbai, compare the full journey each person makes, including the time from the station to home. A meeting near one workplace may leave the other with most of the travel. Use the current Western Railway suburban information for any journey on that network rather than treating an old timetable as a promise. Then decide whether a short call would give you more unhurried time than another late meeting.
An online appointment avoids a separate consultation journey. Choose a private place where you can stop working for the call, and confirm a slot rather than assuming the journey home is suitable. Birth date, time and birthplace are separate from your current Mumbai address if you request a Kundli reading.
Wanting regular contact is ordinary. Whether daily is workable depends on both schedules. Say what you need and ask what they can reliably offer, then see how far apart those are.
Ask for a rough end date and what will change afterwards. Decide for yourself how long you can continue as things are. You do not need their permission to have a limit.
A reading may describe how a person tends to handle pressure in the traditional view. The actual reason is something only they can tell you, so ask them as well.
Often because that is the only time you have together, so everything unsaid comes out at once. A short midweek conversation can take some weight off the weekend.
